Warranty Information
We warranty materials and workmanship for a period of six months from the date of pickup, unless expressed otherwise in writing. This warranty does not cover operator abuse and/or neglect. For instance, a speaker that is returned with a shorted or charred voice coil has been abused and is not covered under warranty.  Audio output stage damage is most often caused by forces external to the unit, such as customer abuse and improper speaker wiring and/or load.

Before leaving our shop all units are fully tested, audio output stages are tested at the full rated power for a sufficient period of time to ensure there are no defects from within.  If you feel unsure of your speaker wiring, operating habits, etc., please ask us for advice.  We will gladly answer your questions and offer any assistance we can to help you get the most satisfaction from your equipment.

Each unit is sealed with tamper resistant warranty label(s).  If a label has been tampered with, the warranty is void.

We make every effort to provide you with lasting satisfaction from your audio equipment.  A small tag with our phone number has been affixed to either the rear or bottom of each unit.  Please feel free to call us if you seek advice. y
Repairs
Pricing Policy
The cost to repair an item is based on a $60/hour labor fee in addition to the price of the parts involved in the repair.  We require a $30 non-refundable inspection fee to accompany each incoming item.  A technician will evaluate your unit, then we'll contact you with an estimate.  If you approve the estimate the $30 will be deducted from the total due.  If the estimate is refused, the inspection fee will partially pay for the technician's time.

When a unit comes into the shop, we make note of the physical condition as well as any accessories.  This is simply a precautionary step we take to be certain that your item is returned with whatever cables, cords, tapes, etc. that came in with it.

Turn around time for an item is dependent on several factors.  If an item has been worked on previously,  there may be existing work which must be "undone" before the item can be properly repaired, this takes time and adds expense. Complexity of the problem and parts availability also affect turn around time.  WE DO NOT WORK ON ITEMS WHICH HAVE BEEN SUBSTANTIALLY ALTERED FROM THE MANUFACTURER'S DESIGN, OR ITEMS WHICH HAVE BEEN SEVERELY TAMPERED WITH.
